After the anchoring comes the awakening.
As we step out of Cheshvan (Anchored in the Deep) and into Kislev, the Spirit of the Lord whispers,
“Now that you’ve learned to rest in Me, I will restore your sight.”
This is the month of divine revelation — where God begins to speak again through dreams, visions, and night encounters. The stillness of the deep has cleared the waters, and heaven’s reflection is visible once more. What was once clouded by confusion and warfare is now becoming clear.
Kislev in Hebrew tradition is the month of dreams and trust. It is when Joseph dreamt dreams of destiny, and Daniel interpreted the mysteries of kings. It is also the month of Hanukkah — the Festival of Lights — reminding us that even in the darkest nights, light breaks forth through revelation.
“I am restoring the language of dreams,” says the Lord. “Many of My people have gone silent in vision because of disappointment. You stopped dreaming because what I showed you felt delayed, denied, or dismissed. But I am resurrecting prophetic sight within you. The night will speak again. The silence will be broken. I will visit My people in the night hour, and revelation will awaken strategy, healing, and hope.”
This month, the Lord is rekindling holy imagination — the ability to see beyond the natural into the realm of His possibilities. Many will find themselves dreaming again after long seasons of drought. God is breathing upon forgotten blueprints, prophetic promises, and ideas that once seemed impossible.
But this restoration of sight requires trust. Kislev is also the month to rest your confidence in God’s voice again — to believe that what He shows you is real, even if it’s not yet visible. Just as Joseph’s dreams seemed foolish in the pit but were fulfilled in the palace, so too will the visions you carry mature in due season.
“Guard what I reveal,” says the Lord. “Not every dream is for public release. Some revelation is meant to be incubated in intercession. Steward what I show you with wisdom and patience, for I am entrusting secrets of nations, strategies for families, and insight for the next move of My Spirit. Those who treasure My voice in the night will walk in My light by day.”
