Tishrei \/ September 5786 Prophetic Word — Anchors in the Storm

As we step into the first month of the Hebraic year 5786, we are standing at a prophetic doorway. How we posture ourselves in Tishrei sets the course for the year ahead. This month carries both weight and opportunity — a time to awaken, repent, and dwell in God’s presence so that our lives are securely anchored in Christ.

The Meaning of 5786

The numbers of this year carry prophetic significance:

  • 5 speaks of grace.

  • 7 speaks of completion and perfection.

  • 8 speaks of new beginnings, resurrection, and stepping beyond the natural.

  • 6 is the Hebrew letter Vav (ו) — meaning hook, peg, or nail.

The vav fastens and secures. It held the Tabernacle together in the wilderness, and it points us to Christ, who was fastened to the cross by nails — the ultimate vav that secured our salvation forever.

The Lord says:
“In 5786, I am fastening My people to Myself. I am hooking you into My covenant so you will not drift. Just as the vav secured the tent of meeting, so I will secure My dwelling place in you. My people will be anchored, hooked, and fastened to My Word, My Spirit, and My promises.”

5786 will be a year where storms test what we are truly fastened to. The question is: What is your vav hooked into — the world, or Christ the Rock?

Why the Hebrew Calendar Matters

Romans 11 reminds us that we, as believers, have been grafted into Israel. That means the appointed times on God’s calendar are not just for Israel; they are prophetic invitations for us too.

  • Jesus fulfilled Passover in His death and resurrection.

  • The Holy Spirit was poured out on Pentecost (Shavuot).

  • The return of Christ will align with the Fall Feasts.

This calendar is God’s prophetic clock. If we live only by the world’s calendar, we may miss His timing. When we align with His, we step into His rhythm, His voice, and His movements on the earth.

Prophetic Word for 5786

The Lord has been speaking that 5786 will be marked by fire, shaking, and anchoring.

  • Families: Storms will test households, but families with prayer altars will endure. Unity will become a weapon.

  • The Church: God is exposing pulpits built on charisma instead of covenant. Platforms without presence will collapse. He says: “I am not blessing performance; I am purifying My Bride.”

  • Nations: Governments, economies, and systems will shake, but God is raising watchmen and intercessors to hold the line as anchors.

  • The Anchor: The Lord says:
“I will anchor My people in My Word, in My Spirit, and in My covenant promises, so that though everything shakes around them, they will not be moved.”

The Fall Feasts of Tishrei

This first month of the Hebraic year is weighty because it contains the Fall Feasts, which act as prophetic access points:

  • Rosh Hashanah (Trumpets): The trumpet blasts — God’s alarm clock. A call to awaken from slumber.

  • Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement): The holiest day. A call to repentance and cleansing. Repentance is the rope that ties the anchor deep.

  • Sukkot (Tabernacles): A week of dwelling in fragile booths. It reminds us that it was never the shelter that kept Israel, but God’s presence.

Each feast invites us: to awaken, to repent, and to dwell.

🪝 September Prophetic Word — Anchors in the Storm

Scripture Anchor: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” — Hebrews 6:19

Prophetic Picture for September

I saw the month of September like a harbor in a violent storm. Ships were tied at the docks, but the winds pulled hard. Some anchors dragged because they were lodged in shallow sand. Others held firm because they had sunk deep into the rock.

The Lord says:
“This month will expose what your life is anchored to. If your anchor is in finances, it will snap. If it is in government, it will drag. If it is in human approval, it will not hold. Only those anchored in Me will remain unshaken.”

At Sukkot, Israel lived in booths too weak to resist a storm. Yet God’s presence covered them. The prophetic revelation is this: it is not your structure, but His shelter. It is not the size of your vessel, but the depth of your anchor.

Prophetic Foresight for September

The Spirit of the Lord says: “This month will be a month of exposure, testing, and positioning.”

  • Families: Marriages and parent–child relationships will come under pressure. The enemy will attempt to divide, but the Lord says: “If you build a family altar this month, I will anchor your household in My peace for the year ahead.”

  • Finances: Expect sudden shakings — unexpected bills, shifting markets, or even job instability. Do not panic. This is a test to reveal where your anchor is tied. Those who trust God’s covenant will see supernatural provision released in the coming weeks.

  • The Church: Leaders and ministries will be tested. Some will fall, others will be purified. God says: “I am raising voices anchored in My presence, not performance.”

  • Nations: Watch Israel, America, and the Pacific this month. September will mark storms — both natural and political. These are signs of the global shaking I am allowing, but My intercessors will anchor regions in prayer.

  • Individuals: Many will feel internal storms — pressure, anxiety, even old temptations resurfacing. The Lord says: “This is not to break you but to reveal where your anchor must be reset. Do not run to distraction — run to Me.”

Prophetic Picture: I saw hands letting go of ropes tied to broken anchors — fear, addiction, relationships, financial security — and taking hold of one rope tied to a heavy, immovable Anchor in the Rock. The Lord says: “If you release false anchors this month, I will fasten you to Myself for the year ahead.”

A Call to Access

  • Awaken (Rosh Hashanah): Stop hitting snooze on the trumpet of the Spirit. Wake up from compromise and distraction.

  • Repent (Yom Kippur): Repentance is not optional. It’s the rope that ties your anchor deep. Without it, you drift.

  • Dwell (Sukkot): Make His presence your habitation, not your hobby.

The Lord says: “Drop your anchor now, before the storm increases.”

Declarations for September

  • I awaken to the trumpet call of the Spirit.

  • I repent and return, dropping anchor deep in Christ.

  • I dwell in the shelter of the Most High.

  • I will not be moved, for my Anchor holds.

  • My hope is eternal, firm, and secure.

Closing Prayer

Father, we thank You that You are our Anchor in every storm. Tonight we repent of false anchors and re-anchor in You.

Awaken us by Your trumpet, cleanse us through repentance, and cover us with Your presence. Anchor our families, our churches, and even our nations in You.

Though the storm rages, we declare: our Anchor holds.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Final Word

As we step into Tishrei, let your anchor hold. The Word, the Presence, and the Covenant of God will secure you in this year 5786.
